For these reasons, there has been a huge amount of plantscaping in recent years, and it is also used in office and work spaces. But what exactly is it and can you do it yourself?

Plantscaping: what is it?

Plantscaping: what to look out for?

1. Choose your plants carefully

Don’t know super much about plants? Then it is recommended to start with plants that do not require much care. Plants such as dragon trees and grass lilies are ideal to start with. Have you developed green fingers after a while? Then you can go for slightly more challenging types of plants!

2. Scan the space: what fits where?

Before you start putting plants everywhere, look carefully at the space: where do you have a lot of sunlight? Can the pets or children handle them? Can they grow enough in that spot? All things you need to consider before finding a place for your plants. Some plants can survive perfectly in a dark space, while others need direct sunlight.

3. Create a set-up: ensure dimension

Think carefully about how your plants can fit nicely into your interior. After all, you want them to complement your space, not dominate it. Too much is never good, this also applies to some green in a room. For example, think in layers: hang a plant from the ceiling with a cool plant pendant, put a few on the table or desk and also provide some medium-sized pots on the ground. This way you create a fun and trendy dimension and consequently a pleasant working or living space.
