That plants make us happy and give us energy is no secret. But what plants can you use to encourage home work among employees? Especially if a lot of work is done from home from your office, a healthy and pleasant working environment is important.
That means a room with good humidity as well as clean air. In addition, the home office must be provided with sufficient oxygen so that concentration is maintained. The right plants will help you do that. But which ones do you choose? We have listed for you a number of plants to stimulate homework among employees.
Why choose plants in the home office?
It is common knowledge that plants contribute to a healthy and pleasant work space. This can be in the office, but, of course, at home as well. The right plants to encourage home work among employees fill the air with oxygen. This has a number of health benefits. First, oxygen contributes to a good energy balance. This means that employees can stay focused on their work for longer periods of time even at home. An oxygen-rich workplace also prevents excessive sick leave. It reduces annoying complaints such as coughs and colds. The right plants also ensure that stress-related complaints are reduced.
The best plants to encourage employees while working from home
There are lots of plants that can contribute to a healthy and pleasant workplace. Do you want to encourage home work among employees? Then choose from the plants below.
Dragon Blood Tree
This plant is also called Dracaena. Its botanical name is Dracaena deremensis. The dragon blood tree is a great plant that can encourage home work among employees. It purifies the air of the workspace and also has a sound deadening effect. Employees are therefore less likely to be distracted by sounds coming from the vicinity of the home office. It also reduces stress levels while increasing concentration and productivity.
Ferns
Ferns are a master at purifying the air. This is good news because this is what your employees need if you want to encourage them while working from home. Ferns remove harmful substances from the air. Here you can think of particulate matter, but of course also harmful CO2. This has a detrimental effect on the ability to concentrate.
Ficus
Ficus are also ideally suited to encourage home work among employees. These plants keep the humidity in the workplace in good balance. This is due to the excellent evaporative properties of this plant. Not only when they are in sunlight, but also indoors in the home office.
