The ideal plants for your patio<\/h2>\n

Brightening up your patio or roof garden is what you do with plants. But which native plants can best survive on your roof terrace or garden? We list a few for you. <\/p>\n

1. Gelderland rose<\/h3>\n

This shrub that grows to as much as 4 meters in height can survive perfectly in a wet environment and likes to have a moist nutrient soil<\/strong>. Ideal for our rainy Belgium. In May and June, the Gelderland rose has its heyday and red fruits grow on the bush. Birds shouldn’t snack on these fruits because they are poisonous! <\/p>\n

2. Sessile oak<\/h3>\n

The sessile oak is a graceful tree that can grow up to 30 feet tall. In July and June, the tree comes into full bloom resulting in yellowish white flowers, also called linden blossoms.<\/strong> The tree also gets a kind of nut as a fruit, but these serve mainly for ornamental purposes.<\/p>\n

3. Wild rowanberry<\/h3>\n

Not quite convinced about large trees on your roof terrace? Then go for a smaller tree such as the Wild Rowan. It grows about 15 meters tall and, like the sessile oak, blooms in May and June with beautiful white flowers<\/strong>. Nice bonus: The dark red fruits that also grow on the Wild Rowan during the flowering period can be used for jam, liqueur or even wine. <\/p>\n

Artificial grass: green terrace or balcony without any maintenance<\/h2>\n

A green roof with numerous lush plants: it’s a beautiful sight, but also requires a lot of maintenance. Would you like a roof terrace with some greenery, but don’t feel like maintaining it? Then go for a<\/strong> roof with artificial grass<\/a>. Grass mowing? Seeding? Watering? All a thing of the past. <\/p>\n

Artificial grass on your roof, rooftop terrace or balcony creates a fresh, natural atmosphere and instantly makes it a little cozier.<\/strong> Moreover, you hardly need to do anything to it once it is laid.
