Pay attention to certain signals in a timely manner<\/h2>\n

If you want to make sure your plants are healthy, it is important to recognize<\/strong> certain signs that may indicate a problem. You don’t even have to have special green fingers to do this; anyone can keep plants healthy simply by keeping their eyes open.
We have listed the most common signs for you<\/strong>, so that you can take timely action to save your plants. <\/p>\n

Problem: The leaves of the plant are falling off too much<\/h2>\n

If a plant loses leaves quickly and frequently, there may be several causes. The plant may be in a spot with too little light<\/strong>, or it may be underwatered<\/strong>. Too little light is a problem that occurs mostly during the winter months. <\/p>\n

The solution<\/h3>\n

If the plant is not getting enough light, trymoving<\/strong> it to a brighter spot<\/strong>. Is the plant not getting enough water? Then water the plant liberally first of all, until the potting soil is completely moist<\/strong>. Then read some information about the amount of water this particular plant should get and try to follow this schedule properly<\/strong>, and it should be fine in the future. <\/p>\n

Problem: Houseplant shows brown leaf tips<\/h2>\n

Plants may develop brown spots over time. Is this the case? Then a plant usually has too little light<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Try placing the plant in a spot with more (indirect) sunlight<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Problem: Your plant has yellow leaves or holes in the leaves<\/h2>\n

Does your plant have yellow leaf tips, or are the leaves turning brownish-yellow and you can see small holes? If so, the plant actually has too much light<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Move the plant slightly farther from the window, or in a different location<\/strong>. It is best to place the houseplant at a window facing east or west, as this light is less bright than south. <\/p>\n

Problem: The plant has more grayish and sticky leaves<\/h2>\n

Can you detect a strange sticky gray substance on your plant? Then chances are you are dealing with aphids<\/strong>. The gray goo secreted by aphids is also called meal or honeydew. Over time, fungi<\/strong> can also grow on<\/strong> it. Taking action is therefore necessary. <\/p>\n

The solution<\/h3>\n

Separate the affected plant from the other plants to prevent further infestation. Remove the affected parts<\/strong> and in bad cases you can buy special remedies for aphids<\/strong>. Read the label carefully before applying the remedy so that you do not harm your plant. <\/p>\n

Problem: Your plant shows obvious yellow leaf edges<\/h2>\n

Your plant may show yellow leaf edges if the air<\/strong> is too dry<\/strong>. This is especially common in plants that come from rain forests. <\/p>\n

The solution<\/h3>\n

Make sure the humidity in a room is slightly higher<\/strong>. Is this not possible? Then spray the plant more often.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Problem: The plant does not grow or grows very slowly<\/h2>\n

Is your plant not growing well? And is it looking a little sad? Then your plant may be deficient in nutrition<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
