Green at the office

Offices can quickly deteriorate into dull, gray places that don’t have much to be cheerful about. Even the most good-humored colleagues can’t brighten up those spaces. What can: greenery in the office. Plants bring offices to life.

Companies often replace printers, computers and company cars, but planters are usually overlooked. However, plants have nothing but benefits and the investment is limited and quickly recouped.

Healthier employees and therefore less absenteeism

More and more companies understand the importance of a pleasant and healthy working environment. The indoor climate in an office building plays a particularly important role in this regard. Did you know that plants in the workplace can reduce symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, coughs and irritated eyes by 30%? So plants really can work small miracles!

A study by the University of Exeter has found that more greenery in the office can reduce the amount of physical stress and make employees feel happier. In other words, greenery in the office makes for healthier employees and less absenteeism. So that also benefits the company.

Happy and productive colleagues thanks to greenery in the office

Your employees in the office will not only be healthier, but also work better. In fact, plants in the office increase productivity and creativity. Greenery in the workplace creates a comfortable and homey feeling. Employees feel better, can concentrate better and come up with creative ideas faster. Plants in the office are excellent motivators.

Clean air for all

That increased productivity and creativity is also due to the clean air that plants produce. They are natural air purifiers. Plants absorb CO2 and even harmful particles from the air and produce oxygen. Some office plants can even be called true oxygen machines. Good air quality benefits the health, productivity and creativity of everyone in the workplace.

Better acoustics thanks to plants in the office

Does your office struggle with poor acoustics and sound seems to bounce off all sides? Then plants can also help. Nothing is more annoying than having to work or have an important conversation in a noisy room. Plants absorb sound and function as dampers. This way you make the room quieter and the muffled background noise is no longer disturbing.

Split up your office with plants

Plants are often placed in corners, but you can take a more original approach. Does your office space feel like one big room? Then you can break up that space with plants. Plants are great room dividers. You grant your employees more privacy, they get their own office inside the office and will feel extra comfortable.

Do you have limited space to place many plants? Then you can install a plant wall. The plants are then attached to wall panels that are carefully clicked together and can cover an entire wall. Your office will have lots of plants and a wow-feel in one fell swoop.

And what about maintenance?

Taking care of plants does not have to be a major task. Each plant requires a certain amount of light, water and food. We are happy to think with you about how plant maintenance can be done efficiently and effectively.

Would you rather not be responsible for plant maintenance yourself? Then we are happy to lend a hand. Choose for example to lease plants. Maintenance is included in the price. No maintenance, but all the benefits that plants bring to your business.
