Veolia Brussels

The central hall of Veolia Brussels is a real eye-catcher – an impressive fusion of branding, architecture and nature.

Following the acquisition of Suez by Veolia, the new Belgian entity needed a larger space to house the merged group’s activities.

Together with Colliers and Bulo, we realized the new five-story office on Avenue Poincaré, near Brussels-South station. It became a modern workplace that feels both functional and homey.

To reflect Veolia’s values, sustainability was central to the design. For example, Bulo was chosen as the local furniture supplier, the flooring is made from re-woven recycled materials and we provided an abundance of greenery.

We placed a diverse mix of plants in natural stone pots and added some striking elements, such as a large round planter. In the foyer, the greenery was integrated into a central bench, with a four-meter-high tree next to it.

The result is a soft, inviting atmosphere, thanks to abundant natural light, thoughtful design and lush greenery.
